Washington University – Center for Materials Innovation (CMI) Clean Room

This project was the construction of a 5000-square-feet Class 100/1,000/10,000 Clean Room in the lower level of the Earth and Planetary Sciences at the Washington University Danforth Campus. The new Cleanroom Complex of spaces consisted of cleanrooms, gowning room, entry vestibule, wipe-down room and service chases and utility corridors. The Cleanroom Process Area is a Class 100 (ISO 5), Class 1,000 (ISO 6) and a Class 10,000 (ISO 7) used to support research techniques in exposed samples in the patterning and deposition process.
